Bus cancelled without prior notification

Hi,

I've made a bus booking for my younger brother Xolela Stofile, on the 13 Jan 2013 for a departure date of the 16 Jan 2013 at 18H30 departure time traveling from Cape Town to King Williams Town. SA Roadlink callcentre agent called my brother on the same day (16 Jan 2013) that he was supposed to have left Cape Town at 09H00, informing him that the Bus has been cancelled for the day due to late servicing. The next available bus would be the next day, the 17 Jan 2013.

As you might imagine, all the preparations were already been organised for him to leave on the 16 Jan 2013, and SA Road link were unwilling to refund as this was their anomaly. I ended up making alternative arrangements so that he could leave that very same day, the 16 Jan 2013.

SA Roadlink had subsequently informed me that I could use that booking before the 28 February 2013 for the very same customer. I tried to resonate with them that, that is impossible as the passenger in question is already in King Williams Town.

I would like you to assist me in getting my refund for this scandalous customer service.
