Great service but needs not met

On the 2 december i arrived in OR thambo international airport to check in for my flight to cape town . the lady at the check in point was absolutely wonderful i must say greeted me warmly and her service was hard to fault but i specifically asked for an emergency exit seat and she confirmed that there was one available.
as soon as i boarded i realized i would be sitting one row behind the emergency exit on an isle seat. now tell me how is that fair? I'm a tall human being which unfortunately can be a handicap. The flight its self was pretty delayed so by the time we landed in cape town the my citi bus was no longer running. and i had to take a cab. i paid R300 for the commute and later found out that the going rate is R160 so i was ripped off. all of this hassle and confusion could have been avoided if kulula had kept their promise of exceptional service.
this was my second time flying on kulula and I'm hesitant to fly with them again, flying economy doesn't mean flying cheep :(
