Failure to Fly

I was flying from Entebbe to Kigali, then on to Johannesburg. The flight was late in departing from Entebbe due to mechanical failure. I missed my flight in Kigali and was stranded. An SAA flight was leaving the next morning at 6 for Joburg, but Rwanda air said that the flight was full and that they would only book me on the next evening's flight on Rwanda Air. But if a seat became available on the SAA flight, they would get me on it.

I then purchased a ticket for the Joburg flight in my own capacity and took that flight at considerable cost to me. A third of the plane was EMPTY! I want the cost of the SAA ticket covered because the flight should have come at no cost to me.
