My daughter was booked on a flight from JHB to CPT on Sun 20th Oct at 18h05. I received nofication of delay on 3 occasions. The 3rd SMS stated that the flight was now at 20h10. As a result of this and the constant shift in the schedule it was not possible for the person we had arrangements with to fetch her from CPT airport to come to the airport. I called in to ask if Kulula could move her to a Monday morning flight rather. There was space on a 6h20 flight but I was told I had to pay in R1000 which I refuse to pay. This was Kulula's delay (understandably caused by the weather) so I expect them to make every effort to accomodate me. Instead this company looks to make more money out of a bad situation. We eventually had to go out of our way to make alternate arrangements to have her fetched, which was very late at night due even further delay. I find Kulula to be an insensitive, uncaring and only profit driven company. The customer comes last. We have been using Kulual every 2-3 weeks on average. But not anymore.
