I booked a flight (JE242) on Mango's website and opted to chose own seat for R35 per trip, i.e R70-00 fee added to the bill. I received confirmation of such on 17th September, which was paid cash at Checkers. 29th September, upon booking in luggage (almost an hour before flight) at airport teller the prebooked seat was not booked. For the return trip (JE253) 6th October the same thing occured - when booking in at airport, booked seat had not been allocated. I sent Mango an email to their enquiries on the 6th, and the response today (10th) was "no refund will be honoured in this regard". Why not? I paid for the service and it was not provided.
