LOSE FULL FARE - WE DON'T CARE!!!

Today at 10:31 I booked a flight for one of my employees travelling to PE from East London. Only upon receiving the booking confirmation did I notice that there was a letter missing from her surname (due to a technical fault with my PC) at which point I IMMEDIATELY contact the FLYSAA call centre & alert them to the error. I am told by the call centre agent that I will have to cancel the booking and rebook as no name changes are allowed once payment is received. I asked her if there was nothing they could do to assist as I do not want to CHANGE the name, I just want to CORRECT a spelling error. She then puts me on hold for close to 10 minutes while she contacts someone for clarity. She comes back to me to tell me that I will HAVE to cancel my booking and rebook, AND because I have booked a non-refundable ticket, I will only receive a PORTION of the AIRPORT TAXES as a reund in 7 - 21 Days. So because of ONE missing letter in the travellers name I forfeit the FULL AIRFARE as well as some of the TAXES!!! SAA are the BIGGEST rip-offs in the industry. For anyone else who has dealt with this company, you will also know that reunds do not take 7 - 21 Days but much longer, SAA ARE THE WORST
