I purchased a ticket for my sister, travelling from JHB to BFN on 7 July 2013. Departure was supposed to be at 4:30 pm, but left at 5:30pm. After being on the road for approximately 3 hours, the bus started showing signs of technical difficulties and eventually broke down about half way between JHB and BFN, close to Kroonstad. The bus was stranded all night. The passengers were not even offered so much as a bottle of water and no information was shared with them regarding what was happening. The bus driver apparently was not very optimistic about being assisted either. Eventually at 5:30 am, I drove through from Bloemfontein to the Ultra-city to collect my sister. When I arrived at 7:30 am, the bus was still broken and no back up bus had been sent. We are now back in BFN after traveling to KRN & back. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and lack of courtesy, which SA Roadlink has shown. The call center, which SA Roadlink has listed on their tickets, also does not work. I hereby demand a refund of the ticket price of R225 R66 in toll fees. In addition, the petrol costs for the221 Km at AA rates of R3.24 pkm. (R716.04); totaling R1007.04.
