First of all, the tickets was booked at Checkers, Kenilworth Center. We were not offered the discounts available for students and pensioners. It was explained that my son was traveling with my mom to Klerksdorp as she is very old and needs assistance, they need to be seated downstairs, preferably near toilets. No problem... At the station, they were assisted by the porter with their suitcases for the short walk from the Cab to the Greyhound waiting area and charged a R100. ( Talk about day light) it gets better. Once on the bus, they were separated and told to sit upstairs, she can't do stairs and not 100% on her feet either she was offered a seat downstairs (on a not so busy bus) she was charged an additional R150. over and above the monies already paid for their tickets and my son was not allowed to sit with. Can someone please explain to me what the is going on there. Are you now taking advantage of the old, young and naive???
