We arrived at the airport about 3hours prior to my sister's flight back to New Zealand via Perth only to find out via some confused passengers that the Flight was overbook. When we enquired, we firstly was told nothing and must be patient and then that they cannot allow my sister. as well as other passengers onto the flight due not having space. There was no assistance in explaining the situation and what needed to be done further - much confusion on the floor. We had over heard that other passengers got aboard by booking Online - what about people like my sister who had arranged booking months ahead, DOES SAA NOT PRIORITIZE???
We had my parents (70 year old who were tired and exhuasted with the wait) and I had been at the airport for all that time (parking was up to R150), worst of all my sister had arrangements at Perth for a visit (all costs was paid by her in advance) however SAA Staff did not want to acknowledge anything and just rudely stated they cannot or will not get involved, the total disrespect to us as their Customer was something utterly ashmed i am a SA as they had no sense of loyalty to the BRAND
