After my previous experience I have already mentioned, I finally boarded the 01:45 bus from Knysna to Cape Town on 08 May 2013, at close to 4, as we were leaving I was told that the seat on my ticket is in fact not on the top level at a window as I booked, but in fact on the lower level in the very back. Due to the fact that I suffer from severe motion sickness when traveling by road and the closterphobic nature of the area I refused the seat.

Not satisfied with how the entire bad experience had been handled I demanded to be let off the bus as I will not be able to travel where the seat had been allocated, instead of letting me off the bus in town as requested they proceeded to continue and let me off the bus as we were leaving town, with 15 minutes walking back to the bus stop. I was also told I will not be refunded for my ticket.

As I will not be able to return to Cape Town as planned I have now lost time and cannot replenish my meds for diabetes and high blood pressure.

I will seek legal advice and go to the newspaper unless a suitable solution is found for this extremely unpleasant experience that has now left me medically at risk.
