I signed a "unlimited" (R1600 p.m) contract for a cell phone with 8ta, Gateway on 25 Jan13 & logged complaints within 15 days of signing contract. Gateway referred me to 8ta Customer Service department. I emailed [Email Removed] & [Email Removed] of 8ta all of whom disregard my request to return the device and cancellation of the contract. My dispute was based on:
The frequent of "no service" signals appearing on the iPhone's screen from different locations
Intermittent network failures
Crackling sound while talking
Regular midway interruption while talking
Various failures in initiating many outbound calls
Difficulty to hear clearly when incoming calls are received
Difficulty in successful connections

9 Feb 13 I logged my first compliant to 8ta Gateway Store; The Gateway consultant was not able to give me the exact turn around repair time about any possible device required repair work, therefore I could noit leave the device with him. The consultant seemed to be a novice who tried to reset the device but to no affect. Again on 9 February 13, at 11.32 I called the 8ta customer care on 081180 and I was furnished with a reference number: 40318159. From 9 Fe
