I signed up a contract in Feb this year, but cancelled within 6 days due to connection problems in my area. My son who is in matric could not complete important assignments. When I cancelled, the consultant did tell me that there was a problem in my area due to a damaged tower. I cancelled and signed up and took out the telkom simple fixed line internet instead. After speaking to numerous consultants at the store and on the phone, 8ta is still trying to debit my aaccount from march for almost 4 times. a consultant has promised me after posting a complaint on Hello Peter Earlier on, to sort it out and still no joy, Im seriously now thinking of putting an article in our community newspapers and on the east coast radio to solve this unnecessary problem. How can somebody pay for 2 internet services from 1 company for residential use. Telkom is part of 8ta, and im already paying for the telkom simple package, whos fault is it when there is a faulty tower?
