I had called the mtn contract customer care number and ask for a once off uncapped data bundle to be loaded and for me to be billed with my contract. The consultant (dudu) then proceeded to assist me with my request. I had also asked her to activate this bundle for me. When she finished she told me that it has been loaded and activated. I then asked her for a second time whether it was activated so that I can go ahead and use the Internet. She then confirmed for a second time and said yes. I then went ahead to use my mobile on the Internet only to be disconnected and then to realize that my airtime AND data had run up. This was extremely strange because I had more than R150 airtime and more than 200mb of data. I called back and only after numerous occasions and more than a half hour of holding did I get through to a supervisor (Regina) she then listened to my call with dudu and agreed that dudu had mentioned to me that my bundle had been activated. However Regina accused me of using my airtime and data completely up at about 18:30 which cannot be true. I called dudu at 21:40. I merely asked Regina to reimburse my loss which they had caused.
