Entered into Cell C 2GB/pm contract (for iPad 3) with MWeb on 1 March, 2013.
History of contract with MWeb:
1) No 3G from 1 March to 27 March. Edge only, at insignificant speed - Download speed 0.01 Mbps & upload speed 0.00 Mbps. No one at MWeb or Cell C able to rectify problem.
2) MWeb swopped micro sim on 27 March. No charge for March "usage" as per MWeb (I should hope so!).
3) Received 3G signal 28 & 29 March.
4) No internet (Edge or 3G) from 30 March to 3 April.
5) Received Edge from afternoon 4th April & 3G from evening 4 April.
6) Total erratic service from 5 April to date. Deon MWeb advised that Cell C cannot provide a service on the iPad.
MWeb prepared to cancel contract but ... "there will be a premature cancellation charge should you cancel your contract within the contract period". Is this a joke? Why should I have to pay a cancellation charge if MWeb/Cell C cannot provide a reliable service for the iPad?
Provide a service or cancel your useless contract.
MWeb Emails always start with ... "My apologies for the late reply, we have some unusually high mail volumes at present"... We all know the reason for that...
Bottom line - Don't use MWeb!
