ON THE 18TH APRIL 2013 MY NUMBER STOPPED WORKING WHEN I CALLED MTN SERVICE PROVIDER 808 THEY SAID A SIM SWAP WAS DONE ON MY CELL NUMMBER I CONFIRMED WITH THE EASTGATE MTN MANAGER AND HE SAID IT WAS A MISTAKE, THE REQUIREMENTS TO DO A SM SWAP ACCORNING TO MTN IS: THE CLIENT MUST FILL AND SIGN A FORM AND SUBMIT ID PROOF OF RESIDENCE I WAS IN POLOKWANE 350KM'S FROM EASTGATE WHEN THIS SIM SWAP WAS PEFORMED ON MY NUMMBER.
I CALLED THE MTN MANAGER AND HE PROMISED TO RECTIFY THIS ON THE 18TH APRIL NOTHING WAS DONE UNTIL TODAY HE IS IGNORING MY CALLS .
I WENT INTO POLOKWANE MTN BRANCH FOR ASSISTANCE ON THE 22 APRIL 2013 AND THE MANAGER THERE ALSO REFUSED TO HELP SAYING THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FRAUDS OF MTN EASTGATE AND IF I WANT A NEW SIM I MUST PAY .
I PAID R136.00 FOR A NEW SIM WHICH IS CURRENTLY WORKING. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE I LOST R136.00 PAYING FOR MTN SIM I WAS NOT SUPOSE TO AND WASTED MY AIRTIME CALLINF MTN EASTGATE . AND MY PETROL TO DRIVE UP AND DOWN TO MTN AND THE POLICE STATION FOR THIS TRANSACTION.
I ALSO LOGGED A ELECTRONIC COMPLAINT TO MTN SP ON THE 18TH REF: Your USD reference number is: MTN REQ:2035669
I ALSO CALLED 808 ABOUT 8 TIMEs.
