I RECENTLY HAD AN INSURANCE CLAIM. RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT PHONE IN GOOD TIME.

AFTER RECEIVING THE PHONE (BLACKBERRY), I THE "B" BUTTON WAS FAULTY. CELLC OR ANY CELL PHONE CARRIER OFFERS A OBF (OUT OF THE BOX FAILURE) PERIOD OF 7DAYS. I BOOKED MY FAULTY REPLACEMENT PHONE IN AT THE GREENACRES, PORT ELIZABETH STORE (1/4/13), AS IT WAS ISSUED OUT OF THAT STORE. TO MY UNDERSTANDING, IF A PHONE IS AN OBF A REPLACEMENT PHONE IS ISSUED IMMEDIATELY ON RETURN OF THE FAULTY ON IF IT IS IN THE 7DAY PERIOD. HOWEVER, I WAS TOLD THE FAULTY REPLACEMENT PHONE HAS TO BE BOOKED IN AND SENT BACK AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PHONE TO BE ASSESSED, APPROVED AND A NEW PHONE TO BE SENT. THEY COULD NOT OFFER ME A LOAN PHONE EITHER FOR THEIR PROTECTION AND POSSIBLE LOSE. OVER ONE WEEK WENT BY AND I HAD NOT HEARD FROM THEM, SO CALLED THEM. THEY CONTACTED HEAD OFFICE, AND ONLY ON THE 12/4/13 WAS IT APPROVED THAT I COULD GET A NEW REPLACEMENT. A WEEK FROM FRIDAY 12/4/13 HAS GONE BY, AND STILL NO PHONE!!! APPARENTLY IT WAS SAID THAT THE FRANCHISE STORE COULD OFFER OUT OF THEIR STOCK BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE STOCK OF THE SPECIFIC PHONE. MORE THAN A WEEK FOR DELIVERY? DID THE STORE INFORM HEAD OFFICE THEY OUT?
