CONTENT CHARGES - BILLING SHRUG OFF

We have been billed around R1200 in content charges over and above our monthly cell phone amts upon phoning MTN querying these amounts I am told MTN are not responsible for raising these charges the charges relate to content - I need to contact the service providers directly. My contract is with MTN and NOT these other service providers. When phoning these companies I am told that my husband subscribed to these services. My husband is technologically challenged and still finding his way round internet sites etc so he may well have pressed the wrong buttons. My argument is that MTN have NO RIght to allow ANY other service provider access to my cell phone account/bank account to raise whatever charges they wish without my permission - surely the CPA deals with this? How can MTN allow these people to charge as they wish without verifying this service with the account holder? Surely pressing a button CAN NOT be construed as entering billing contract with any company? I have no doubt MTN receive some kind of monetary reward for allowing these dubious operators to bill MTN clients at will. I am told MTN will investigate what's to investigate?? MTN have no right allow access to my account
