I would like to place on record the poor service from MTN on the illegal charges that are being deducted from my cellphone account. I am getting these content charges for the past six months and MTN is either unwilling or not interested in stopping these charges. It seems that MTN is a willing participant as they derive income for these charges.
I have contacted call center and all these can say is that it is not MTN's responsibility. I have requested proof from MTN that I have subscribed to this service but they cannot provide this.
I then called the service provider SMS Net and they claimed they have stopped the subscription, which I may add that I have never subscribed and no one can show proof. Now this month I have been charged again. This was also reported to WASPA and they claim that this matter is now resolved but I am still being charged and no one is being held accountable for the charges on my account..
To me this is blatant on MTN's part as they cannot show proof that I have subscribed and gave permission for the amount to be withdrawn from my account.
