Internet very slow all the time

I have had the fast link E367 modem on the 3 gig uncapped contract plan for more the a year now.
when I connect my internet speed is very slow, it takes about 2 minutes to open a website, sometimes it does not even want to open a website and if i want to watch something on youtube it is imposable this is before my 3 gig cap is reached, I have looked at the coverage map and I am in the 3g hspa area.
I have phoned mtn many times to complain and all they do is check my settings on my modem, and the the internet is still the same, they cant give me solution, I also tried in non peak times and it stays slow.
Why must I pay 300 rand a month for nothing this is not right. I should stop paying the monthly payment, because mtn is not holding there part of the agreement
