I recently applied for a Telkom landline and ADSL.

Initially the service I received was great and a technician was at my house to install the landline within a week of my order. However the installation could not be completed due to a technical fault and I was advised that a tehnical team would be dispatched to fix the problem the next day (5th of April).

Since then I have been struggling to get any response from Telkom and no one at the call centre is able to assist me with any answers. I have refered from one department to the next, but non of them have been able to assist.

The line started working on the 13th of April for a few hours but is now completely dead again. I haave contacted the call centre who cannot tell me why the line is not working nor what is the status of my order.

I contacted the call centre again, where was told to be patient and that they have requested a technician to contact me today. I have not received any contact from the yet. After the phoning the call centre for the upteenth time, I was informed that no request was lodged for a technician to contact me.

I am really frustrated with the whole situation.
