I submitted my phone for formatting and after I received it back and turned it on all my installed applications were downloading. I was unaware of this until I got into my car - at this stage over 150mb were downloaded before I switched my mobile data off. About 80mb were out-of-bundle and R2/mb was charged against my account.
I was not pleased and informed Vodacom accordlingly. As they are the experts, I felt they could have informed me in advance that my data will be switched on and applications will be downloaded. After a brief communication with Ilse and Patrick, Patrick informed me that Vodacom will reverse the charge the next month - however, it was reversed immediately - GREAT JOB!! Ilse also did what she could to resolve the issue and gave me 250mb free data to cover the "losses" - GREAT JOB!!
I am very pleased about the outcome and praise Vodacom and their staff for EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thanks!!
