Back cover peeling off my new Curve

I have used a BlackBerry for the past 4 years and as my new phone was from my classroom (I am a pre school teacher) I had to enter into a new contract so my daughter allowed me to trade in her Curve (my previous one) to allow me to get a new phone which I desperately needed. To my shock the back cover has started peeling and it looks disgusting I was informed this is a factory fault and nothing I can do aswell as the fact the battery constantly overheats. I am disgusted as I have always been happy with my blackberry and have recommended them to my whole family.
