Vodacom
Claims that I owe them

I had previously received a series of call people claiming to be acting on behalf of vodacom that I have a contract with vodacom which I have to pay.
I request them to email me details of the contract, including Itemised billing of the phone in question.
Instead they send me an unprofessional statement without details of the sender "probably the letterhead".
The agents then started to be dubious and asked that I send copy of ID with 3 signatures which I refused. I did this to protect myself but to my suprise they have stopped calling.
I am worried if this was a and if not I would like vodacom to clear my name as I have never signed a contract with them.
I am unemployed my creditworthiness does allow me to open a contract.
Please expose VODACOM for the and let them clear my name.
