I upgraded on my contract with MTN and got myself the samsung S3. I only had the phone for a few days when it started giving me problems - it's not charging. I went to my nearest MTN shop where i bought the phone and they informed me that there's nothing wrong with the phone. the phone was still in its 7 days... few days later i went back to MTN with the same problem. again they informed me that there's nothing wrong with the phone. 2 weeks later i went back for the 3rd time with still the same problem. MTN send the phone away for repairs. in this time, i mailed SAMSUNG and MTN about my problem. someone replied and informed me that i must let them do a warranty assessment.
Last week I went to the MTN store to inform them that they must send the phone in for an warranty assessment. I got a call from MTN stating that they cannot send the phone in for an warranty assessment because the phone has water damage. The phone wasn't even near water. This is unacceptable. Now they want to make up excuses not to give me a new phone. Who says its my phone that they assessed? if i dont get new phone, they can cancel my contract and i'll switch to vodacom. im gonna stop my debit order aswell.
