I recently applied for a contract and I was told by Nthabiseng at the Eastgate MTN that it could take about 4 hours to get approved. This application was done on Tuesday 2nd April, and because Nthabi told us it takes 4 hrs we waited at Eastgate so we could leave with the phones. After waiting for over 4 hrs, when she checked the contract was still being processed, so we had waited for nothing.
I then went back to the MTN branch at Eastgate yesterday, to collect the phones only to be told by Nthabi that the contract was still being processed. This is after 4 days. She told me that she had been escalating this issue, to the point where she received an email from the person who was handling my account telling her that they don't need to be told how to do their job. This just tells me that someone is being spiteful at the cost of the customer. Nthabi has escalated this 3 times already yet the people in the vetting department don't want to work on it. Everything they have requested has been sent to them & all checks have been done.
MTN should I take my business elsewhere because if this is how you treat customers, its quite disgusting. can you sort this out ASAP.
