Deceased parent expected to pay

My father passed away June 2012 and his contract was valid until 4 December 2012.
We completed forms on the 17th of december 2012 and handed all relevant documents eg. death certificate, to the MTN branch at cape gate mall. The lady advised us that she faxed the forms away and the account will be cancelled. she even gave us a reference number : 95805715
after this we received one invoice and the lady at cape gate called 808 and confirmed again that they have alll relevant documentation.
She said they have a back log so it might take longer, but they will back date it.
WE ARE STILL RECEIVING INVOICES! on phoning the call centre they could not assist us. The lady just kept saying she can not assist as the case is with legal department for an outstanding amount.
On asking to speak to the legal dept the agent advised that no one is in the department. WOW! this must be why nothing has been done as no one seems to be working?!
she said they will call us back and we are still waiting. it is ridiculous! does MTN have any sense of accountability? Losing a parent is traumatic enough!! do your job and cancel the account. WE FOLLOWED ALL THE REQUIRED STEPS TO HAVE THIS DONE! SOMEONE CALL US
