Vodacom
Misleading Information on website

Telecommunications

Last week I've decided to migrate my contract to the new RED Advantage contract that Vodacom have. My saving is higher, and it is a better deal than the Talk 500 I was on. Last night when I checked out all the "perks" of the new plan I was on, I read about the buy-back program. Awesome, I thought to myself, I can "trade-in" my IPhone 4S for an IPhone 5!!!
Here is a link to the information about the program:

This morning first thing I phones the customer care division. The guy I spoke to doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about. Spoke to somebody else, and he said I must talk to a Vodashop as it is deals hosted by them. I just spoke to Hyde Park Vodashop. Sorry sir, it is only for upgrades and new contracts, and not on pre-paid. However, that is not what the website is saying. The website clearly state (without an *) that anybody can trade in there smartphone for a new one, as long as it qualifies the criteria and phones on offer.

It is very disappointing that Vodacom will put stuff on their website and then comes with a way different story when you want to take advantage.
