Blackberry woes

I took in my blackberyy 9900 for repairs after it started freezing on me. Last week i recieved an sms from a repair service informing me the cost of the repairs is R2200. On pointing out the handset was still under warranty i was informed there was no proof of purchase and therefore had not been repaired. I had to provide the proof. i indicated that the phone was delivered from MTN SP. The lady said they had no record of that in their system. I get billed by MTN monthly!!!
