I stay in a lodge, working away from home. As one can expect I want to talk to my loved ones every night, but this is currently impossible as any attempt to phone home, the calls get dropped continuesly and at the end of the day upsets me so that I find it best just not to phone. We get charged for every second on air, so each time a call gets dropped the conversation has to start all over again just to get dropped again, so in essence we are paying VODACOM to play footsy with us! Is VODACOM indirectly countering me in contacting my loved ones? We are a few guys staying at this lodge and everyone has the same problem. We have contacted VODACOM numerous times (calling & e-mails) and everytime promises were made but never kept. Myself alone have spoken to 17 different people including the lady in charge of the Limpopo area, but this doesn't seem to be bothering them as NOTHING has been done to improve the signal strength of their antennas or anything of the sort since we are still struggling with the same problem! The problem has been reported in January, more than 2 months ago!!! How much more time do they need and how much more money will we be wasting in this frustrating "game"???
