2mbps same as 1mbps

I recently upgraded my line from a 1mbps to a 2mbps - I suggest that you do not do the same.
The only thing that changed is the price which I have to pay. When doing a speed test on [URL Removed] I realised that I get a max of 0.9mbps, I used to get 0.8 with the 1 meg line.
I called in and was told that everything is fine on their end - How does that resolve my problem???
Does Telkom rob everyone like this making them think that they have a line which is twice the speed?!?
