MTN - I always have the worse experiences with them..
My account was R 2 350.00.. i phone to find out why this was so high as i did not activate my itemized billing.
They looked it up and told me it is because of internet. I accept this and ask to speak to the accounts department so that i can make a plan to see how i could pay for this - i spoke to a lady- and ask her if they can make a provision for them to debit my account with 50% of the amount and as soon as i have the rest of the 50% to make a debit order.
The lady very confident tells me that they can do this and that it wont be a problem. Now i dont know if she just said that or if she even had a clue how to do this but she told me that she made a note on the system and the they would only deduct R 1175 for this month and as soon as i made the other payment - send them the proof of payment.
I also then changed my mind and asked them to activate my itemized billing which is R 18 per month so that i can see what the is going on - TILL NOW I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED ANY MAIL FROM THEM WITH MY MONTH itemized BILLING AND STILL WAITING - DO WE AS CONSUMERS NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEE WHAT THEY CHARGING US FOR??? THERE'S MORE
