Vodacom - False advertising! Unacceptable!

3 weeks ago I went in to upgrade my contract, I saw a deal for pay in of R2639 for a torch, was told the deal was for February/March - said I would get all my documents and return. Upon my return the next week the system said a pay in of R4000 because I didnt have my paper to "prove" the special I was told I could not get it. I had to go home & find it for "proof". On Saturday with my proof of the deal and all necessary documents but again was told that the system wouldnt allow the upgrade at the advertised amount of R2639 and being a long weekend all the "Managers" contacted could not be reaced, I was told I would only by helped on the 2nd April BUT the special I had been trying to use was for February and March and though Vodacoms poor service I had not managed to do so, I do NOT think it is fair to advertise something and NOT give it to the customers and I will take this furthur, false advertising is not acceptable an excuse I was given was that it states "while stocks last" but when I said I would buy the torch cash - the shop attendant went to get one from the store for me, so this was clearly another lame excuse from Vodacom for them to avoid honouring their advertised deal
