Long story short..

1. Ask Telkom & Mweb if we can upgrade to 10Mbps, was told yes by both so proceed with the upgrade request. Mweb changes my account form 4-10Mbps (more expensive) but fails to upgrade my Telkom profile to 10Mbps, so we're stuck with a 4Mbps line. Mweb fails to rectify my account back to 4M and debits R1611 instead of R899

2. Seacom outage (22/03/2013) and lack of redundancy plan causes my surfing experience to be horrific and at most times, non-existent. Sent cancellation request to Mweb yet they still run the debit, saying that there's a 1 month's calendar notice according to their terms

CPA grants me the right to cancel and not have to abide by your one month's calendar notice due to the simple fact that it is my right to receive "good service" from the provider rendering the agreed services. Mweb has clearly failed to provide me with a "good service" as well as to thousands of customers that have complained here as well as on public forums such as Mybroadband. Mweb is not abiding by the consumer act and therefore acting in an unlawful manor, I demand that the debit that you ran this morning (R1611) be refunded in full as I owe you nothing!
