Hi,

Early last month I called the MTN call Centre inquiring about my upgrade as to when am I due for one, they advised that it is due already however my account is in areas for 7 months. my question was how is that possible that my line was open for the last 7 months without any notification that I am in areas or it will be suspended or get a notification or a call that I am in areas or a statement and that my debit orders where not going through. It was an error from their side and my line was suspended immediately after that call.

Okay! I did acknowledge that I am in areas and I need to settle my account. I asked to close my account to settle my 7 months of areas because I don't have the power to pay it off over 3 months period while getting billed every month. The legal department told me it is impossible and I have to pay it in 3 months or else I will be billed till infinity.

I am devastated as a subscriber that MTN doesn't care about their customer satisfactory and the only thing they know is to force customer into debts. How can one be in debts and they still force you to use the line to be in more debts.
