Home loan account in areas while up to date

I have missed one month paymnet in oct and made arrangemnet to be paid, i then changed debit order to the 1st of each month since i changed jobs, Nov was paid on the 1st of Dec as advised and on the 14 of Dec we paid the outstanding payment but the bank also debited my account without my concernt same day that we paid with EFT transfer, during Dec we received calls about account being in areas i then called in for update coz to my knowledge the account was up to date to my suprise i was advised if the account is paid on the 1st of each month actual mean that account is paid for the month currently in not the previous month then needed to change my debit order to the end date of each month which in Dec we paid on the 31 of Dec as arranged. early in Jan i received a call advising my that the account its areas again called in and i was advised the money in the account was not cleared so as soon as its cleared they will bring the account in order, on the 12 of January i called in i was advised they will bring the account in order i should call in afternoon to check, Toady i called account still in areas, people are doing their job & yet my credit status is being messed up, Please help
