I went to Telkom to collect my modem but it was closed due to a burst pipe. They had set up a stall outside the store. i spoke to a gentleman who informed me that they would not be able to give me a modem as he could not ring the sale up without the POS. He said that I would have to go to one of the other branches.

At the time I could not go to any of the other branches and asked him if I could send someone else, he then advised me that I can but would have to write a letter in order for the other branch to give it to that person. Due to me being in Greenacres and the other person in Walmer i asked if i could call the other branch to informed them to which he said I could get the other person to write a fake letter that included my I.D no. and sign for me as well!

I then tried to get hold of the other branch on my own to no avail! Frustrated, I went back to the stall where I found the same gentleman I asked for help, Uninterested in my plea he reclined on his chair eating popcorn as he spoke to me! I was then told I could lodge a complaint and he rattled off a no. if i was unhappy with their service then I was also told I can speak to the manager, who was of course on lunch!
