Double billing?! or closer to the truth

We are a non-profit organisation and we have had our account with MTN since the late 1990s.

Our bank account was debited for our account (we give permission for this) and then again for another account which does not belong to us (we obviously did not give permission for this). We have no idea who the second cell number belongs to and at no time gave permission for MTN to debit our bank account for the other account. This happened repeatedly over 6 months. Now that money (sometimes reaching over R2000 per month) has not been paid back into our account and your staff members refuse to reply to us.

Despite three seperate reference numbers for three separate logged complaints and what feels like hundreds of emails, we are no closer to getting our money back or canceling our account - the two requests we've made. On the positive side you have finally stopped the "double billing".

Let's hope Hello Peter does the trick and we don't need to take this to court.
