Wednesday 20th March i went in to mtn to change to prepaid as my contract expired that day. spoke to someone at call centre who said it would take 2-24 hours to change.
as of sunday 24 march no change had happened so i went back in to complain. was told once again that it would take 2-24 hours.
Monday morning... more than 24 hours later STILL no change so i went back in and was told YET AGAIN to wait as the request had not been processed yet..
5 days and 4 reference numbers later and I still have not been changed to prepaid.
Even worse than that, for the entire 5 days i have had NO mobile internet at all and the only excuse given is that it is related to the change over. What terrible service! and then they have the cheek to ask why i want to leave the network? MTN why is it so hard to process one request?
