Contract changed to prepaid option - PATHETIC

4 days ago i requested a change from my mobile contract with Telkom Mobile. My contract finished in December, so i requested they make it prepaid and i need to KEEP MY NUMBER as its primarily for business use. It's been 4 days already that they switched my number off, my phone says "SIM NOT PROVISIONED 2" When i call them again i wait sometimes 30 minutes and they don't answer.
Moleogeng sais they would send an SMS when they ready to change over, how are they going to do that with my phone switched off? If you call my mobile no. now it says "no. does not exist"
Gloria at the call centre says " telkom takes full responsibility to give you your no. back if they made a mistake" Will they take responsibility for loss of income? Till now they cannot follow up my request or even tell me what's happening, they say i should wait 7 days to see what happens. Don't they understand the repercussions when a business relies on a number? Telkom, if i get no joy soon, this case will go to the CPA, telkom claims their calls are recorded, they can investigate and listen to my instruction and concern that this number is changing over to prepaid and NOT being cancelled!!!
