I've been a customer of Cell C for many years and have a good credit record with them. Last month I received am extremely high bill and asked them to investigate. I advised them that I would pay an amount pending the outcome of the investigation, which I did. Cell C then credited my account with -R2800 but noticed that they reversed that amount and debited my account again. I received an SMS from Cell C advising me to contact a specific person in their credit dept with regard to my account and on 6th March 2013 I sent an e-mail to that person. Until today I have not even received an acknowledgement. Cell C suspended my lines today and I phoned their customer services and asked to speak to that person or someone in the credit dept and was told that I cant speak to them, the customer services would send an email to their billing dept with my query. I want to make an arrangement for payment of the additional R2800 and requested that my lines be reinstated urgently as I need it for business. I ws told it would take 48 hrs to revert to me (which I can expect to only be on Monday! I find their loyalty towards their longstanding customers appaling! And they're never available!
