Cut off and isolated

I phoned MTN 2 weeks ago before traveling and asked them to check my credit limit as I didn't want to be overseas and have no phone. I was assured that I was fine and would not be cut off. Now I am in Ireland and cut off. Thanks MTN. This is so annoying, especially since I took the time to check this specifically as I knew I was roaming.
