Very frustrating ADSL experience

I applied for an ADSL line with Telkom again after about a two year break from them. I suddenly realize within the first 6 weeks of the service why I left in the first place. I have already logged three calls on the line working intermittently. The most frustrating thing about it is that when you want to work from home it does not work, the line goes up and down like a jo-jo. It is just unbelievable that I must pay for a service that does not exist and it is not cheap. The bill for the last two months was over a R1000 for something that is close to useless.
