We run a business and make use of a Telkom ADSL line which is not working. After various telephonic requests to solve the issue, Telkom agreed to send a technician out on Sunday to attend to the matter. Needless to say, no one came out. I called to follow up on REF NR 17CRK160313 on Monday morning and was told that they could see that a technician was meant to come out, so they would escalate the call.By Monday afternoon we had still heard nothing, so my husband called to follow up as the line is CRITICAL due to business use and was informed that it had not yet been assigned to anyone! They provided him with a escalation ref nr and advised that he would receive a call shortly - nothing! Again today, we had no feedback from Telkom and once again called this afternoon just to be informed that a manager was not available to deal with us (as is always the case in a call centre) but that a supervisor would call us back immediately... still nothing!!! As a business client, one expects Telkom to respect the loss of income caused by their service failures and respond more promptly given that we are actually paying for a service that we are not receiving! Time to give Neotel a go?
