We were incorrectly informed and mislead by the supplied information given upon upgrading.

Cell C does not supply nor service any Control Chat contracts any longer, and our contract had to be migrated to a Post Paid contract.

Every 15th of every month, my wifes number is topped up (control chat) with R235-00. She had phoned and used her account as per normal, but when we walked in to the Cell C store in Kolonnade, not a single word was mentioned of the account being wiped clean and all previous balances being lost after a migration.

We had asked the salesman 2 - 3 times ensuring we were clear on the subject and that everyone understood.By mentioning the amount available (roughly R140-00, with about 250MB), the salesman repeatedly ensured us that the balances will be migrated with the contract migration.

We contacted the call centre and enquired why the balances were lost, and we were informed that the salesman is to be held responsible. I emailed his branch after logging this query, and have thus far heard nothing in return.

Cell C has sent an sms saying that NO REFUND IS DUE, but I believe we were robbed!!! The value is not small, and information was misleading. Someone fix
