I'm a new MTN contract customer that had to wait a week to receive my new phone, after going to the store 4 days in a row to sign papers. When I got it, not only did Albertino not know how to use the phone, he stuck the small sim chip in instead of the whole thing and got it stuck. When banging didn't retrieve it, another staff member handed him a knife and he took the phone to the back office to pry it out. I was assured that this would not damage the phone. I started using it and within a day had no airtime. I went back to ask how I could have used R200 in a day and they informed me about pro rata. I asked how much I'd be billed and why they didn't tell me about this before and Mariano told me I'm a difficult customer and should have dealt with him directly (even though I'd been there 4days in a row and never once met him) I'm now on business in CT with a slow HTC that takes about 10seconds to return to home and HTC Sense giving errors. After 6 days of back and forth trips and calls to MTN, with so many problems, I have no space here, it is now day10 and I have been informed that it will take a week to get me a new phone. So now I sit without one again for another week. Thanks MTN
