I took out an upgrade on an MTN data contract on 21 December 2012. The upgrade came with a 3g wireless modem. Unfortunately I could only get Edge. I returned on 27 December to cancel the upgrade, only working day being a the half day of the 24th in-between, they proceeded to charge me for repackaging (which I had no problem) and according to the Consumer Protection Act R 120 a day for usage?

This is not a fridge where I could have used it without them knowing. And I already get changed for data usage anyway so why again?

Now I discover they have not cancelled the upgrade although they have charged me. The call centre says my upgrade is reflected on the system to 2015.

Are they here just to fleece us? Wasting my time, costing me money, putting me last.
