I visited Cell C Gateway on the 6/11/2013 and took 2 contracts for samsung note 3's. On the 11/11/2013 i went back to the store as the 1 phone was over heating and the battery dropped from 100% to 41 % without being used. The phone also switched off and on on its own. when i visited the store they advised that the phone must be sent in for an assessment and once assessed the phone will be REPLACED as this was an OBF within 7 days. I called Cell C gateway 21/11/2013 and spoke to Jerome who is the assistant store manager. He advised that the phone was tested and will not be replaced as the tests came back clear. This is totally unacceptable!! I have 2 of the exact same phones and have a problem with one of them. I will not accept a faulty phone within 4 days of purchase. The service is shocking and very misleading. How is a test able to show that the phone was overheating and switching off and on by itself?? i have been a loyal Cell C customer for almost 10 years and expect better service!!!
