I just NEED my modem to be unlocked so i can do whatever i want to do with it. Been sent back and forth by Vodacom about this matter, I've told them many many times to unlock the network so i can use whatever network i want to use and they always sent me to "whatever that network is"-they say i must tell them to configure the modem for their usage. I insisted on Vodacom booking the modem in and that was just a waste of my time, modem was returned with a "beyond repairs" note. The modem is not broken, I'm using it now to send this mail to show that its functioning. I just feel like their playing games with me and its unethical to lock customers in. All the ever ask me is is't under warranty, is't a contract? The answer is NO! I bought it cash and I'm buying prepaid data bundles when i need them. Another question there so obsessed about, is is't a Vodacom Modem? Yes it is, check serial number IMEI:356517037310771 S/N:321201108765.MY MODEM IS NOT BROKEN -why did you say its beyond repairs? so how come I'm connecting with it now to send this mail? I want to get off your network, just let me go, there are better service providers out there. What's the process of opening NETWORK?? Job number 8674263
