I handed in a contract phone to Vodacom Hatfield for software repairs on 13 February. As I live in the Karoo it was arranged that the phone would be sent to me by courier when ready. On 28 February I phoned to enquire about the repair status and was informed that the phone was ready for collection. I pointed out where I lived and that it had been arranged that the phone would be sent by courier. I was told that it would be despatched immediately. I phoned again on 7 March and was told that the phone had been sent off and that Vodacom would follow up with the courier. I phoned again today, 13 March and was informed by Kitso that the phone was ready for collection!!!
I asked to speak to the branch supervisor and was told that she was not available. I then asked for a number I could ring to complain. I was told to ring 082 1944. That number turned out to be a self-help line where the voice asked me for my repair job number and then informed that the phone was ready for collection at Hatfield.
Vodacom - what a joke!!!
