I upgraded my contract in Dec 2012 and received my new blackberry around 11 Dec 12. Within 3 days the phone started giving me problems. I phoned Elite mobile and was told that they had to repair it and couldnt give me a new phone. They phone was collected by them on 19 Dec. I received the phone back almost a month later. Now 3 months into the contract the phone is not working properly again. Elite mobile insists on fixing the phone for me. I am paying R200 a month a for a defective phone. I have spoken to their customer services reps requesting a new phone but get the same story that they have to try and fix this one. My question is WHY MUST I PAY FOR A DEFECTIVE PHONE for the next 2 years??? I would like a new phone or to cancel this contract. The fact that the phone stopped working within the first 7 days should have been reason enough for me to get a new phone or be able to cancel the contract.
